Yesterday I ran into some troubles. I have hopefully corrected them and am awaiting word from my publishing consultant to see if what has been resubmitted will fly. Just to glance things over and see if there would be additional index words I might want to use, if given the chance. God is in control.

Well, things are rolling along and picking up speed. Tonight I heard from my contact at Westbow and have been making a few minor revisions, primarily among them altering the footnote/endnote symbol system I had used. All went well in that regard. My lady removed two sections from the title page, which go on the back cover. I could not open or edit the copy she sent, so I am planning to resend my copy of the document tomorrow so their “review team” can get to work. For whatever that’s worth.

Wonderful, wonderful day. Word is that I should have the book in my hands soon from my editor. Then excited to put the finishing touches on it. To have the book out by Christmas, my publisher needs it by 9/30 and the final proofs to be completed by mid-November. Hopeful I can do this and that all would go well. His plan, not mine. His agenda. His time-frame. Glad the book cover is all ready to go.

So happy for the progress being made. Things are happening slowly but in God’s timing. Spoke to my contact yesterday at the publishing company, Westbow Press. Verified tonight with my editor I’m all set for his final proofing of a few sections. Also, I had some good contacts yesterday and today about what is going on. Since I sent my book cover option yesterday to the publisher and title page, they may get underway. Still awaiting word whether one item can be used on the front cover. When the cover is completed, it will be put on the website instead or along with this blog. Yay, God!

Just to notify this site’s visitors that my book and website are not quite finished, book title: Till Death Do Us Part: Dealing With Brain Injury and Physical Aggression.  To be available in the Westbow Press catalog, Amazon, BarnesandNobles.com. . .  Contacted my editor and publisher late last week, it’s getting exciting! Actually sent my lady at Westbow some preliminary pages: title page, book description, back cover design, author bio, etc.  Now just to finish my index and await my editor’s final suggestions. PTL!!

Finished editing, able to make footnotes and endnotes (PTL!!) Project sent back to my editor this week. Had some good thoughts about it late last night, revisions to make. Sent Jim (ChristianWriterHelp.com) an email about it this morning. Getting closer! Looking forward to Memorial Day tomorrow. Developing some good relationships with some church buds. Maybe a chance to visit with a few of them this week. So the next step, besides finalizing the details, is to send it to Westbow Press. Excited.

Getting so much accomplished on the project. The kids are all back to school now. Three days a week are mine to work without distraction:)

Wonderful anniversary day today.  Thirteen years married, three happily.  Dana and Aaron away at Teen Missions this week.  Sounds like they’re having a good time.  Not talked to Dana yet, she called the other day when my phone was off.  Alan is taking me to Taco Bell today to celebrate. Shopping also at Target, to get an anniversary gift for my wife.  God is good.

Just played a fun game of Apples to apples with the boys.

Our children are blessed to be going to VBS this week at McGregor.  Gives me more time to work on my writing project.  Things are really starting to come together.  I’ve had a great proof-reader help prepare it, an editor look it over, my pastor write a forward.  Just some last-minute details now.  Then to be briefly re-examined by my editor and submitted to the P.O.D.  Having a website developed and soon to get a logo.  God is so good!
