The day got busier as the afternoon moved along. My editor’s company is doing a social media package for me and needed a lot of information. One thing was designing a facebook header and slogan. Should be neat. It’ll have Twitter, facebook. . .think I’ve mentioned the other online sites earlier. A few of my friends are placing book orders already. Still have a few more items that need work. The social media rep will call me tomorrow so we can go over additional things.

Having to totally put book #2, Labor of Love, on the backburner for a while. But that’s okay. We’ll work on it when we can.

Many have inquired about the book title: Till Death Do Us Part. (Dealing With Brain Injury and Physical Aggression) would be the subtitle. May not need that. My name, though, with middle initial A., might be essential. Again, it’s on: WestbowPress.com, Amazon.com, Barnes&Noble.com

Had to speak to Westbow this morning about something. Found out my book’s online already. Only at Amazon.com and the Westbow Press site, yet.

After a few emails back and forth, Westbow made it clear that without great penalty one change could not be made to my book at this point. This was despite the fact it was a publisher goof. So, in the whole scheme of things, it probably won’t matter too much. I just would’ve appreciated their cleaning up their own error. Thank goodness, it was in the index. So, between all that, and some editing on book 2, the time slipped away today.

Excited to know things are in progress on book one. Hope one of the publisher errors I found, regarding the index, can be corrected. Unsure at this point, since I already signed off on it. So we’ll wait and see. Won’t be the end of the world if nothing can be done. Don’t think I would want to delay or postpone book production any or much longer. Looks like the end of November.

Had breakfast at McDonald’s this morning (a drink) and talked to our neighbors there. Good things to say. They’re fond of the idea “Labor of Love,” or “Daddy’s Got a Headache.” We’ll see.

Revised manuscript just sent to Westbow!

Confirmation received at 6.30 my book was sent to the printer.  Looks to be live the end of November.

Got so much done yesterday. Checked out the final proofs, made it over halfway through. Only have found four or five minor things till now, a few of which may be publisher errors. Another is a repetition of a word. Again, possibly a publishing goof. Otherwise, I feel terrible. For, I had thoroughly critiqued it before I sent it to them the last time. Got ahold of my website designer. Sounds like we’ll soon be putting the book cover on the site, as well as some keywords for search engines.

If I haven’t given this information regarding where the book can be obtained, here goes: I will personally have many copies to sell; Westbow Press catalog; Amazon/Google search; Amazon.com, Barnes and Noble see-inside-the-book; and as an ebook (several options: nook, kobo … might mention the others later). Sounds like it may be available online, or via ebook, before we have the hard copies. I may have a social media site, press release, and book trailer, too. Three weeks and counting! Excited to see what God will do.

Just spoke to my Westbow Press design team. He’s ready to send the revised proofs to me. Then two weeks from whenever I return them, the book goes live. PTL!

Got the final book cover proofs today, looks good. Waiting to see the final text treatment and trust no errors will be found. Read some online tips from my friend and her online writing business in Ohio. A lot of work today on the ‘Labor of Love’ text. Had the sweetest talk with Brandi and Gavin this afternoon. Great hearing Gavin’s little voice. He remembered me! Can’t wait to see them next week, and praying for a miracle. Hope the ‘Till Death Do Us Part’ arrives tomorrow. I have a good deal of time to work on it and evaluate whether the changes were made correctly.
